The new logo is on the right, in comparison with the one on the left. I guess because everything else wanted to go HD, it wanted to join the club as well...gettin' its' widescreen flava on. :P Not!
Anyways, here's the article that talks about the logo change. In my opinion, the change doesn't really make an impact to me. It'll take some getting use to as well...though I barely watch MTV anymore.
It looks as though they've just dropped the 'Music Television' at the bottom (which seems appropriate considering their programming now) and chopped a bit of the M's legs off...Poor 'M'...I guess they decided the 'M' doesn't need shoes anymore. Or maybe can't afford shoes anymore. You'd think they would've ceased punishment on the poor thing when they gave him a new name...'Moronic'
