After watching this video from TIME.com, makes me really want to visit MoMA and see Tim's exhibit. I've enjoyed Tim's work in animation (Nightmare and Corpse Bride), as well as some of his live action movies. His artwork style is truly unique, and it is inspiring. :)
I saw this book today while I was at Barnes and Noble, and just seeing Norman's process was spell bounding! Not to mention inspiring, seeing different models being used to help him capture his vision. If you see the book somewhere, I suggest taking a look at this book. It's worth your time, I promise you! :)
Started drawing some quick sketches for Hooley Dooley. I'm already convinced that my design will be a transfer instead of a label. I also think that my handwritten type is looking more interesting for this project than the fonts I look up on the Net.
More sketches and concept decisions to come later this week.
I'm a GSU (Georgia State) student, getting a BFA degree in Graphic Design. While I am learning the thinking process of graphic design, I apply them currently to my artistic interests (comics, characters).
